Responsibilities

• Design, implement and launch highly-visible, user-facing features
• Develop new ways for users to find interesting content
• Design and develop large scale web applications using Ruby on Rails as well as JavaScript, CSS and HTML templates

Position Qualifications

• Desire to be one of the first 10 people on the team, tightly working together for a common goal
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience and knowledge of:
• A production Rails app or Python framework
• UNIX/Linux environments
• SQL and relational database
• jQuery, HTML, and CSS

Experience nice to haves

• Agile development & fast prototyping
• A/B or multi-variant testing
• User data analytic
